Marqeta expands its credit platform

Global modern card issuing platform Marqeta has expanded its credit platform by adding a new, intuitive dashboard and more than 40 credit APIs that will further help customers.

The new credit APIs allow clients to design, test, and launch differentiated credit card experiences for an ultimate customisable service. Marqeta’s latest credit platform offers customers increased flexibility and control than regular legacy credit solutions, with clients being able to leverage First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)’s programme management and banking capabilities. 

According to New York Fed data, the demand for credit cards has continued to grow during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, with almost 25% of US consumers requesting a new credit card by October 2021. The boosting demand allows companies to further expand their business opportunities and deliver high-quality, flexible, and customisable credits to meet the needs of a demanding customer base. 

Some of Marqeta’s key features of its latest release include an intuitive dashboard experience, flexible rewards engine, instant decisioning, and streamlined authorisation with gateway Just-in-Time (JIT) funding, allowing businesses to actively participating in the authorisation of credit transactions.
