Instacart partners with Chase to provide new offerings for cardholders

Grocery delivery and pick-up service company Instacart has partnered with Chase to provide new offers to Chase Sapphire Reserve and Preferred cardmembers.

According to Progressive Grocer, the programme will run until 30 September 2020, and it enables Chase cardholders to earn extra points on groceries delivered or picked up from their local stores via Instacart. Therefore, Reserve cardmembers will earn 5x total points, while Preferred cardmembers will earn 3x total points on all Instacart marketplace delivery and pickup order.

Besides, Reserve and Preferred cardholders will also receive up to USD 50 in statement credits towards a monthly (currently USD 9.99) or annual (currently USD 99) Instacart Express membership, which offers unlimited free delivery and reduced service fees on orders of USD 35 or more.

Furthermore, Instacart has recently raised USD 225 million to keep up with the increasing shopper demand for online grocery, as its order volumes have surged up to 500% during the COVID-19 pandemic, Progressive Grocer reported.
