The M300-2G is a high performance 13.56 MHz contactless coupler (reader interface) specifically designed to provide long range communication distance with contactless chips. The M300-2G is most frequently being used for applications in access control, mass transit and E-tagging. It is compliant with ISO 15693, and operating at up to 1.5 meter. Encompassing cryptographic security management, the coupler has been designed with an optimized size (16cmx10cm) and thanks to that, it is cost effective. This new auto-tuning feature is an advanced tool in the RFID antenna design. It allows the user to design its own tuned antenna in a very short timeframe. With this tool, the user can build his antenna without having deep electronic knowledge, because the board can automatically tune the antenna in a very short time. The only thing to do is to connect a wire and to start an auto-tuning sequence by software or automatically, after a time out. The auto-tuning function makes easier the installation of couplers and antennas. There is no more need to tune them manually. Antenna tuning verification helps to tune the antenna or protect the reader when the antenna operates in abnormal conditions (noise disrupting the field). Practice makes it perfect!
