Danske Bank, PBS extend payment cards partnership

Danish payment cards, payment services and secure digital data communication services provider PBS has renewed its agreement with financial services company Danske Bank the processing of Danish and international payment cards.

The extended five-year agreement between Danske Bank and PBS includes payment card processing in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Ireland and Northern Ireland. PBS will thus continue to processes all of Danske Bank’s payment card transactions, regardless of payment card type, country of operation, language and currency.

Owned by a number of Danish banks and the Danish Central Bank, PBS supplies e-payment services to companies in the Nordic region and is currently the fifth largest card processor in the European market. Danske Bank provides Danish and international customers with banking, mortgage credit, insurance, leasing, real estate and asset management services. The bank operates 700 branches in 14 countries.
