Under the terms of the agreement, MasterCard Europe will launch credit and contactless Tap&Go Axess offering in almost 170 Carrefour hypermarkets and supermarkets which will participate in the project. The Carrefour Axess is based on a combination between two loyalty platforms: the Axess multi-merchant scheme by means of which cardholders can gain cash points by making purchases at more than 160,000 merchants and the Carrefour Plus loyalty scheme.
The card program also integrates an instant reward money and a donation program, as well as assistance services and discounts aimed at Carrefour customers. Tap&Go Axess will be offered through the extension of Akbank’s Credit Express branches.
