The Austrian issuer and Nitecrest have done an acquisition scheme, where AUSTRIACARD has acquired 100% of Nitecrest's shares. The key shareholders and team of Nitecrest will ensure continuity for its partners, customers, and employees, under the umbrella of AUSTRIACARD.
Nitecrest company officials stated that, as they join forces with AUSTRIACARD, this will allow them to expand further, offer product led core banking services, and partner with companies in need of an issuer to deliver payment cards.
The acquired company produces and personalises gift, loyalty, and telecom cards for the local and global market. In addition, Nitecrest holds a 50% stake in TAG_NITECREST, which handles sales and personalisation of payment cards for financial institutions in the UK.
