Following a rather hot topic in the payments industry lately, Amazon has announced it will continue to accept Visa credit card payments in the UK.
The former cease of agreement was supposed to be effective as of 19 January 2022, but the two companies are discussing a way to solve the dispute over high fees for processing transactions.
According to previous comments from Amazon officials, Visa payment costs represented an obstacle to providing the best price for customers, which is why the e-commerce platform decided to drop Visa as a payment method for the UK customers. However, the latest information reveals the two companies are in talks to find an alternative solution to stop the feud.
