BIO-key Selected by Global Profile Services

BIO-keys identification solutions has been selected by Global Profile Services (GPS) to be embedded in its +id ("plus I. D.") product. +id utilizes smart card and finger biometrics to positively identify users of financial transactions and authorized users of federated trusted computer networks. The +id process facilitates the provisioning of users for security applications, and provides a method to "fast-track" members through security checkpoints. GPS will offer a subscription service that positively identifies an individual and their credentials. This service will help address the $74 billion identity theft crisis. Each customer will enroll their fingerprints, a smart card and identification documents in a fully encrypted database. This database will be cross-referenced for each transaction providing a complete, true identification that prevents identity theft. GPS will market +id as a membership program. BIO-keys core technology is a complement for the GPS model and will be integrated as a secure, high-speed, and accurate identification communications layer. BIO-keys technology enables GPS to positively identify their members in real-time without the challenges of tokens, pin numbers and other outside devices.
