Thursday 2 April 2020 14:55 CET | News

UK-based payments service Ordo has launched Ordo Neighbour2Neighbour for those in need of help, or assisting others, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

An online payment service is offering person-to-person usage free of charge to help neighbours looking out for the community during the coronavirus crisis. Ordo has launched Ordo Neighbour2Neighbour for the estimated 65 per cent offering or planning to support others, such as the elderly or NHS workers with everyday essential tasks.

It has made its payment service free for person to person usage for the duration of the UK's social distancing and self-isolation period. The Ordo Neighbour2Neighbour scheme allows those helping others by collecting or paying for prescriptions, shopping or other essentials, to use it to pay using their bank's mobile or online service in a secure way.
