Badran’s professional background includes experience in international markets and the management of e-commerce, payments, fraud prevention, cash management and card processing organizations. He has joined Digital River from e-commerce and payment processing company First Data Corporation, where he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the E-Commerce Solutions Division.
Digital River World Payments service provides payment options which include checkout page optimization, fraud detection, services to manage PCI exposure and currency risk as well as back-office reconciliation and business intelligence tools. The payment service is available in more than 190 countries and supports over 170 transaction and display currencies.
In a recent development, Digital River has inked an e-commerce agreement with Panasonic, a provider of connected TV entertainment, to manage the latter’s US e-commerce transactions for its Viera Connect Market.
