The solution will be available to eMAG clients first and allows shoppers to either postpone a payment or pay in four installments for all categories of products available on the eMAG Marketplace. The new credit solution for the Romanian market comes in two different options: Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL), where customers can postpone a payment for up to 30 days without additional costs or equal payments made in four installments, where the first payment is made at the transaction date and the rest across a three-month period.
To benefit from PayU’s latest updates, customer must save their payment card in their eMAG account and opt for one of the new payment methods upon completion of their order on checkout.
The new payment method aims to boost Romanian ecommerce sales and provide clients with alternative, customer-oriented solutions that are affordable and promote a debt-free lifestyle.
