Visionet, SmartPesa roll out mPOS service in Indonesia

PT Visionet Data Internasional and SmartPesa have launced Mobey, a next-generation mPOS payment service across Indonesia.

Mobey is a payment and agency banking solution designed for financial institutions and merchants in Indonesia. It allows banks to extend their network in more than 160 Visionet’s service points across the country. Thanks to this service, merchants can offer card payment services to their customers at a fraction of the cost of EDC terminals. 

In addition, standalone and mini-POS bundled options are available for the retail segment to facilitate payment. Businesses can offer a streamlined user experience using a white-labelled Mobey app or their own app complete with integrated payment, loyalty and agency banking options.

Earlier in August 2018, SmartPesa announced that it would enable Tune Protect Malaysia (TPM) to use its insurance agent policy payment solutions.
