VeriFone Selects Touch Internationals New Digital Ink Technology

VeriFone, has selected Touch International to provide touch screen technology for the VeriFone Omni 7100MPD signature capture-based payment terminal.

The win showcases the continued growth of Touch International as one of the top touch system component manufacturers and places the companys newest technology, Digital Ink, in front of millions of consumers at the retail check-out counters in stores today. The Omni 7100 Modular Payment Device is the first truly modular, 1/4 VGA point-of-sale terminal with signature capture capability using Touch Internationals Digital Ink touch technology. This payment terminal allows retailers true investment protection by delivering the flexibility to configure the terminal at the factory or in the field. With its swap in & out design, different modules can be added to the base product any time to expand the base capabilities with Ethernet/USB, EMV, Smart Card, and RFID ensuring that current and future payment needs can be met by this same terminal.
