UK: Bank of Ceylon live on Misys BankFusion Universal Banking platform

Friday 1 October 2010 10:43 CET | News

US-based global application software and services company Misys has entered a partnership with UK financial services provider Bank of Ceylon to provide the latter with its Misys BankFusion Universal Banking platform.

With the deployment of BankFusion Universal Banking, Bank of Ceylon aims to create a migration path from its current Bankmaster banking platform in a bid to accelerate the process of its business growth. In addition, Bank of Ceylon UK has selected a suite of other Misys-powered products such as Misys TI Plus for trade finance processing capabilities, Message Manager for payments and messaging and the Misys Personal Finance Portal.

UK-based Bank of Ceylon was an international branch of the Sri Lankan Bank of Ceylon until early 2010 when the bank was granted a UK licence. The newly developed business aims to be the hub for Bank of Ceylon’s expansion programme overseas.
