Triton Ships 100,000th ATM

Triton has reached a landmark in the production of Automated Teller Machines. An RL5000, representing Tritons latest state-of-the-art self-service device, is the 100,000th ATM the company has manufactured since beginning ATM production in 1994.Tritons first cash-dispensing ATM, the Model 9500, pioneered the use of dial-up transmission technology that ignited the explosive growth of ATMs in off-premise retail settings. Today, off-premise ATMs are found in shopping malls, convenience stores, casinos, and even national parks. They now comprise more than half of the nations ATM fleet, and Triton is the largest manufacturer of ATMs designed for this market.
