Travelport, PSP International create joint venture for payment services in the travel sector

US traditional and online travel distribution services developer Travelport and UK-based payment services provider PSP International have set up a joint venture which is to deliver payment and settlement services tailored for the travel sector.

Branded eNett, A Joint Venture with Travelport, the venture is to provide a series of products which will enable automated payments, settlement and reporting between travel agencies and travel product suppliers, supporting debit cards and other alternative payment methods. The joint venture leverages payment and settlement capabilities which have been established by PSP International in the Pacific region with Travelports travel product distribution capabilities.

eNetts board members will include four Travelport representatives, including the companys chairman Keith Woodcock.
