The Bank of New York has been named "Best Provider of FX Services Overall" for the third year in a row in Global Investors 2004 Foreign Exchange Survey. Global Investor, which provides expert coverage of the international asset management industry, asked investment managers to rate foreign exchange performance and related services. The survey ranked the Bank number one in 10 categories, including Best Provider of FX Services Overall, Best FX Service Overall (Real Money) for both North American and European respondents, Best Trading in Developed Markets, Best Advice on Spot Trading, Best Economic Research, Most Comprehensive Sales coverage, and Best Online FX Research Website. The Bank of New Yorks Global Markets Division encompasses the Banks foreign exchange, interest-rate and equity risk management businesses, including global trading, currency overlay and sales activities.
