The Aimbridge Group Names Ann Schmitt Chief Operating Officer

The Aimbridge Group has named Ann Schmitt chief operating officer for The Aimbridge Group. She is responsible for the day-to-day management of all elements of the business, including sales and marketing, information technology, operations, human resources and accounting.

The Aimbridge Indirect Lending, Aimbridge Financial Services, Aimbridge Disposition Services and Aimbridge Home Loans divisions of The Aimbridge Group report to Schmitt. Prior to joining The Aimbridge Group, Schmitt was vice president of Global Risk Solutions and Management at MasterCard International. She oversaw staff in the United States, Europe and Asia, where her focus was on payment card risk management for some of the largest financial institutions globally. She was also director of the financial services practice of Dove Consulting Group, Inc., a Boston-based international strategy consulting firm. In addition to her consulting work with major financial services industry companies, she oversaw the mergers and acquisitions practice, Dove Capital Partners. Additionally, Schmitt was senior vice president of the Retail Payment Systems group with US Bank and started her career with Citibank, where she rose to vice president of service development for the card products group. Schmitt is a recognized industry expert and speaker on key issues facing the financial services industry. She earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Colorado and a Bachelors degree from South Dakota State University.
