TD Canada Trust names new leader for Quebec

Christine Marchildon, a professional banker with extensive experience in retail, private and commercial banking, has been chosen to lead the TD Canada Trust retail banking team in Quebec.

Christine was recently vice-president and managing director of private banking in Quebec for BMO Harris and brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry to her new role at TD Canada Trust. She has a wealth of experience in senior roles in retail banking, wealth management and human resources, having held senior roles at BMO, the Federation des Caisses Populaires Desjardins and the National Bank of Canada. In addition, she has been deeply involved in her community as a member of the board of directors of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, the Foundation of the YWCA of Montreal and the Hopital Ste-Justine. Marchildons appointment adds to recent additions to the TD Bank Financial Group executive team, which include Alan Desnoyers, vice-president of TD Commercial Bank and Michael Fortier of TD Securities.
