Systech Gateways Approved on Vital Payment Network

Monday 22 March 2004 17:22 CET | News

Systech has received approval for its family of Internet Payment Gateways on the Vital Processing Services network.

Systech Internet Payment Gateways connect POS payment terminals and payment controllers to the Vital network over the public Internet using secure IP transactions adhering to industry-standard SSL specifications. Merchants benefit from higher-speed IP transactions, and recurring cost savings from IP-based processing. Acquirers benefit from unlocking new revenue opportunities and new broadband application possibilities. Multiple configurations of the Systech gateways are available to match the varied needs of merchants. Stand-alone payment terminals connect to Systech gateway devices using an RJ-11 POTS connection. Multi-terminal payment controllers connect to the Systech gateway using a serial connection or a POTS connection. In all cases, no changes are required to the actual payment application at the merchant site.
