SunGard enhances Ambit Enterprise Banking suite

US-based software and technology company SunGard has upgraded its Ambit Enterprise Banking suite (EBS) with a new user interface and an enhanced branch teller platform, among other updates.

Due to the newly-announced update, Ambit EBS currently offers several integrated client services, which can be delivered through multiple channels.

Some of the enhancements refer to a new user interface that combines client service and teller operations, campaign and lead management, complaints and case management all in one banking channel. In addition, AEB has been provided with a new Adobe Flex-based architecture that supports browsers and smart client deployment models, as well as an upgraded branch teller platform.

Other enhancements refer to a new BPN engine that provides support for all business process functions, such as workflow, business activity monitoring, imaging, simulation and reporting, thus offering a centralized view of daily operations.

SunGards Ambit is a banking suite targeted at retail, commercial and private banks. It includes services that support front, middle, and back-office operations as well as functionalities for financial management, risk and performance.
