Sokymat expands in Asia

Sokymat SA, has founded a new subsidiary in Malaysia, Sokymat Technology Sdn Bhd. With the objective of further strengthening its presence in the Asian market, the Swiss-based RFID specialist has established a local presence in order to serve its Asian clients more efficiently with local production as well as customer support.

The newly founded subsidiary of Sokymat is based in Johor Bahru and has today signed an agreement to purchase assets of the RFID manufacturers, Santak Electronics Sdn Bhd and Santak Electronics Pte Ltd, both subsidiaries of the Singapore based precision engineering group, Santak Holdings. Santak is a publicly listed company on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
