Richard J. Lehmann and William J. Ryan to Join eFunds Board of Directors

Richard J. Lehmann and William J. Ryan will join eFunds Corporations board of directors at its meeting in September 2004.Lehmann joins eFunds board of directors with over 35 years of banking experience. Currently, Lehmann serves as founding principal of The Biltmore Bank of Arizona, which opened June 2003, and Chairman of Bank Capital Corporation, the holding company of the Bank. Until December 31, 1999 he served as Vice Chairman of Bank One when it acquired FCNBD, creating the fifth largest bank in the United States, with responsibility for all consumer banking and credit card operations. His previous positions include Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Valley National Corporation, before it was sold to Bank One, and Senior Corporate Officer in Europe, Middle East, and Africa for Citicorp. Lehmann also serves on the Board of Trustees of Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management, as well as the Arizona Board of Nature Conservancy, TGen Foundation Board, and participates in other civic activities. Ryan has served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Banknorth Group, Inc., headquartered in Portland, Maine, and its predecessor company, Peoples Heritage Financial Group, since 1990. Banknorth is a $30 billion banking and financial services holding company, which was recently named one of the "Best Managed Companies in America" by Forbes Magazine. The Company operates in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont and New York. Ryan also serves as a Trustee of Colby College, Director of Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Trustee of Libra Foundation, Board of Advisors at University of New England, Member of University of Maine Corporate Partners and participates in other civic and professional activities.
