OPENFIELD Solutions, announced that Empire Supermarkets has contracted for OPENFIELDs ISIS application - a Microsoft.NET based point-of-sale, back office and multi-store management solution.

Based in Kinston, Jamaica, Empire Supermarkets is a subsidiary of Chrisryon Limited, a fully Jamaican-owned importer and distributor of commodities, meats, produce and food items. Empire Supermarkets represents the retail arm of Chrisryon Limited and is a leading supermarket on the island. Empire has been serving its customers with excellence for over 25 years. According to Lloyd Kerr Jr., a Director for the organization, OPENFIELDs ISIS product offered us the most comprehensive solution for achieving Empires in store systems objectives. OPENFIELD will provide us an integrated leading edge Back Office and POS solution for our existing and future supermarket operations (we plan to open two new supermarkets by the end of 2006). As well, the ISIS application suite will enhance our inventory management - always a prime objective for an operator in the Caribbean.
