LogicaCMG offshore services achieves SEI-CMMI Level 5 certification

LogicaCMGs offshore services business in Bangalore, India, has achieved the Software Engineering Institutes (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 5 certification (staged representation).

The assessment was carried out by KPMG, one of the worlds leading assessment bodies. CMMI is a single framework of standards that guide an organisation to improve quality and reduce software development costs by using reliable and repeatable processes. SEI-CMMI level 5 is the highest level of maturity in the SEI-CMMI scale worldwide. LogicaCMGs offshore services division in India is rapidly expanding its current workforce of over 1200 to around 2500 by April 2006. The offshore division performs a wide range of applications management, product development, and support work for LogicaCMGs customer base across the UK and Europe.
