This certification allows merchants to benefit from the features of the SLIM CD suite of card acceptance applications, sending transactions to the Linkpoint gateway for high-speed transaction processing. The SLIM CD is the latest in point-of-sale software for retail, restaurant, hotel, auto rental, direct marketing, and e-commerce merchants. Both credit, and online debit transactions are supported. Transactions are processed through SLIM CDs certified Linkpoint connection in 3-5 seconds. The SLIM CD includes a desktop application, data on demand, fraud detection services, and a choice of shopping carts. The SLIM CD runs on any IBM-Compatible Personal Computer with Internet connectivity or that has a modem. Low-cost card swipe, PIN pad, and signature capture devices are supported. An Enterprise Edition is available for networked environments or to perform data mining of customer information.
