Kern Schools Federal Credit Union selects Fiserv-powered XP2 account processing platform

US financial services technology company Fiserv has entered a partnership with US-based financial services provider Kern Schools Federal Credit Union (Kern Schools FCU) to provide the latter with its XP2 account processing platform.

Fiserv’s XP2 application runs on an open database platform with browser-based applications. The system supports newly designed member, teller and lending platforms, electronic services delivery as well as automated back-office processing capabilities. The XP2 platform uses XML Web services or building block applications designed to connect system components.

In addition to the XP2 account processing platform, Kern Schools FCU will implement a suite of other Fiserv-powered products including AccountCreatesm for online account opening, AML Manager for regulatory compliance, iCom for predictive cash management, Branch Source Capture for check imaging, ConvergeIT: IVR for audio response, electronic statement processing, Nautilus for enterprise content management,WireXchange for wire transfer abilities, Corillian Online for internet banking, CheckFree RXP for online bill payment, Remittance and Check Solutions for item processing as well as Mobile Money for mobile banking. Kern Schools Federal Credit Union will implement the XP2 account processing platform in February 2011.

Most recently, Fiserv has won a contract with US-based credit union PSCU Financial Services. As part of the agreement, PSCU will implement Fiserv’s ZashPay person-to-person (P2P) payments service into its PayLynx online bill payment platform.
