Identix Receives Orders Valued in Excess of $700,000 for Live Scan Systems

Identix receives new purchase orders valued in excess of $700,000 from government and commercial agencies in four states for live scan systems.

Identix Incorporated, the multi-biometric technology company, has received new purchase orders from government and commercial agencies in four states for multiple units of the Companys industry-leading Identix(R) TouchPrint(TM) 3000 line of full hand and 10-print live scan fingerprint booking station systems. The orders have an aggregate value of more than $700,000, and include multiple Identix TouchPrint 3800 Full-Hand Live Scan Systems, as well as TouchPrint 3100 and 3500 models. The live scan systems under these purchase orders will be deployed to upgrade existing live scan networks, as well as to establish new processing centers for federally mandated background checks. All systems under these purchase orders are expected to ship and be installed over the course of the Companys fiscal 2005 year ending June 30, 2005.
