iBill, DuoCash Ink Exclusive Online Payment System Agreement

Tuesday 28 September 2004 16:55 CET | News

DuoCash and Internet Billing Company (iBill) have signed a joint marketing agreement, which allows iBill merchants to accept prepaid phone cards as an alternative to a credit card.

DuoCash owns and operates a patented communications network that allows consumers to use the stored dollar value on their prepaid long distance telephone cards to make purchases on the Internet. DuoCash and iBill anticipate that merchants will see a 5 to 15 percent increase in sales volume when DuoCash is added as a payment option for online merchants. The new payment method should be available through iBill within the next 60 days. The agreement provides iBill exclusive use of the DuoCash network to the online entertainment market, and Master Merchant status in all markets.
