Echoworx is extending its iForce partnership with Sun, by offering Echoworx Secure Email to Suns network of carrier and enterprise clients through Sun Managed Services.

Echoworx Secure Email is an easy to use product designed to be delivered as a value-added service by carriers and other service providers. Echoworx is currently engaged with six tier one global carriers -- in the United States, Canada, and Europe, among others -- who are expected to gain a strong competitive advantage in their markets, while generating significant revenue by providing secure email services to business and consumer customers. Echoworx Secure Email is designed to meet the needs of businesses and consumers, and is targeted to non-technical users. With the click of a button, subscribers can send encrypted messages from their existing email or webmail applications. Messages are digitally signed by the sender and are secured such that only the intended recipient can unlock them. When opening secure messages, subscribers simply enter their password, and the message is unlocked and displayed normally in their existing email software. Non-subscribers can also receive encrypted email without downloading any software, or registering for the service. Echoworx Secure Email supports most popular email applications, webmail and mobile devices. The product provides security for consumers and enterprises and generates new revenue for carriers by enabling them to deliver secure email services to their existing subscribers and non-subscribers alike. Anyone with an email address and a subscription to Echoworx Secure Email can send digitally signed and encrypted email messages without knowing any of the details about the technology.
