Bottomline Technologies Launches Create!archive v3.0

Bottomline Technologies has released Create!archive v3.0, an integrated document archive and retrieval solution.

Part of Bottomline’s Create!form product suite, Create!archive creates electronic PDF copies of documents with instant Microsoft Windows client or Web-based search and retrieval options, providing cost-efficient, self-service access to transactional documents. The new release includes many significant new features and enhancements to search options, the Web interface and document security. Create!archive v3.0 features enhanced functionality including: - Document “multi-select and redirect” - Provides users with the ability to select one or more returned documents from the results screen and redirect them to a new destination such as fax, print or email. - PDF password document security - Enables password protection (encryption) of individual Create!form documents -- not just archive access -- giving users the ability to select robust security features that travel with the document. For example, administrators can set standardized security to limit the ability to open, view, edit, print or extract content from a document. - Simplified data range search - Facilitates selection of retrieval parameters with field and date range “pop-ups” to simplify the search process. - Dynamic and static drop boxes - Enables administrators to include dynamic or static drop boxes within their search view, where one or more index values are made selectable by the user (either mandatory or optional) as initial values. - Enhanced archive-aging options and streamlined dialogs - Offers greater scheduling control for the automatic deletion or off-line storage of documents in accordance with corporate record-retention policies. Administration dialogs are also streamlined for greater usability. - Expanded help file capabilities - Enables administrators to provide enhanced support to users of the Create!archive search screens with customized, internal help files, in addition to the Create!archive administration help file. Create!archive is part of Bottomline Technologies Create!form document output management product suite, which streamlines the formatting and delivery of business documents for a wide range of business applications and platforms. Create!archive v3.0 is compatible with other Bottomline products, including Create!form, Create!stream, Create!print, Create!email, and Create!fax.
