China-based technology company USI has teamed up with Maxim Integrated, a US-based integrated circuits manufacturer, to launch iOrder, an Android mobile POS with built-in payment functions.

iOrder supports wireless hotspots, Bluetooth, wireless wide area networks, and EMV payments. The POS machine is built to PIN Transaction Security standards.

The device runs on the Android 9.0 operating system and supports both the Android and the Cloud versions of the POS terminal software and wireless applications. It is able to record and track customer orders, execute credit card and debit card payment transactions, and is also compatible with other payment systems. iOrder's built-in integrated payment system supports transactions using magnetic stripe cards, EMV contact and contactless chip cards, as well as QR code scanning with a camera app.
