SEPHORA taps NORBr for payments orchestration

Friday 15 April 2022 11:49 CET | News

Netherlands-based payments orchestration platform NORBr has announced that beauty marketplace SEPHORA became their newest client.

NORBr will be orchestrating SEPHORA’s various payment service providers and centralise its payment flows. As per NORBr’s press release, SEPHORA has nearly 3,000 stores in 36 countries and offers 250 brands and over 78,000 products. This means that cross-border payment issues and omnichannel data management are major challenges for this multinational and the payments platform will handle these hurdles.

Founded in 2021 in Amsterdam, NORBr is an orchestration platform that acts as a marketplace of payment providers. NORBr's goal is to allow merchants, from a single integration, to manage a whole payment stack (strong authentication, anti-fraud, payment, bank reconciliation, VAT management etc.). The company also provides a real BI tool thanks to its customisable dashboards that gather all the data from different partners and allow merchants to define their own indicators.

Its business model differentiates it from other players in the sector through its agnostic platform that is accessible for free to e-merchants. NORBr finances itself by charging fees to its PSP partners, as company officials explain.
