Mastercard, Chase, and Instacart partner to launch new credit card

US-based co-brand card issuer Chase and Instacart, an online grocery and delivery platform in North America have announced the launch of Instacart’s first credit card, alongside Mastercard.

Mastercard will provide the payments network, while the new Instacart credit card will offer accelerated points on in-store purchases, as well as other perks and rewards. 

The new Instacart Mastercard credit card will become Chase’s first co-branded card that offers on-demand grocery delivery space. According to Mastercard officials, the credit card is set to be tailored to its customers who will earn relevant rewards as they use it and represents a powerful tool for Instacart to attract new customers and enhance the experience for the existing ones.

The launch of the credit card continues the partnership between Chase and Instacart started in June 2020 and eligible members can apply for the new line in collaboration with Mastercard until 31 January 2022.
