Commonwealth Bank customers shopping online with CommBank Checkout will now be able to make purchases at MasterPass-enabled online retailers around the world – and Australian retailers.
Since the launch of MasterPass in February, MasterCard has formed partnerships with 20 Australian technology partners including both payment gateways and shopping carts.
In recent news, Commonwealth Bank has enhanced its CommBank app and unveiled two new NFC (Near Field Communication) payment solutions that are set to enhance the way customers pay for everyday goods and services by enabling contactless payments through the CommBank application on their smartphone.
