CEE: Adyen, TrustPay ink deal to offer new payment methods

Adyen, a provider of global internet payment and e-commerce services, has entered a partnership with TrustPay, a bank transfer network with coverage in Eastern Europe, to provide customers in the Central and Eastern Europe region (CEE) with new payment methods.

Under the terms of the agreement, Adyen and TrustPay will now be able to accept payments from 13 countries across Central and Eastern Europe, in 11 different currencies from 105 million potential customers who will now receive funds. Adyen has revealed plans to continue its global expansion over the next 12 months, with further investment in the payment gateway and include more payment methods.

TrustPay provides local bank transfers as a method of payment for local and international purchases without the need to open an account with TrustPay. TrustPay offers multi-currency and a chargeback payment service to online merchants.

Adyen provides global internet payment and e-commerce services for mid, large and enterprise e-commerce merchants. Adyen’s Internet Payment Solution enables merchant to increase online conversion by optimizing the online payment process. In recent news, UK-based online retailer the Hut Group has selected Adyen to integrate the latters payment service  into its e-commerce websites across Europe.
