Agicap launches payment function "CashCollect" in Germany

Wednesday 7 September 2022 12:56 CET | News

France-based liquidity management and forecasting fintech Agicap has announced the addition of payment functions to its software in Germany.

Among other things, the software now also makes it possible to manage and pay incoming invoices, as well as to write outgoing invoices and use an automatic dunning process. Until now, Agicap was a web-based software solution that simplifies cash flow management by centralising financial data. Employees in the finance and accounting departments can access the same interface at the same time. Agicap automatically records the transactions on all company accounts and displays them centrally on one interface.

“CashCollect” function

The functions newly introduced under the name "CashCollect" give users of the software additional tools to receive payments on time. The tools allow you to optimise payment terms and the use of inactive liquid funds. These features can be used to improve cash flows, seeing as all amounts due and main debtors can be identified quickly.

The dunning process is automated with these additional functions. The dunning reminders can also be partially automated and personalised. According to an Agicap representative, the new features in Agicap will facilitate access to payment information and the process of keeping track of dunning actions already taken.

Invoice and cash flow management

With the additional integration of a payment function, the Agicap platform now allows organisations to pay their service providers directly from the tool. Incoming invoices can be imported by scanning, mailing, or also manually. The invoices can then be validated and paid directly from the platform. All incoming invoices can also be managed directly in the app without the need for additional filing. The integration of current invoices and upcoming deadlines also allows for more precise cash flow management, seeing as cash flow forecasts are always up to date.

Roll out in France

In France, the features have already been rolled out. Ecommerce solution Grinta was among the first adopters of the new features. A Grinta representative states that the payment function now saves working hours and helps to avoid mistakes, save time and pay suppliers on time.
