Union National Bank (UNB) to be the first bank in the Middle East to install the latest generation of ATMs in its branches network all over the UAE.

A total of 53 new ATM machines with state-of-the-art features will be available to customers during the 4th quarter of this year. This aggressive plan is set to provide customers in the UAE the highest available technology standards in the ATM industry. The new machine, Personas M Series 76 from NCR, is a multi-function ATM for interior locations, delivering the widest combination of transactions per square metre. UNBs investment in this new generation of ATMs is based on two objectives: to be the leader in introducing new technologies to the market, and to offer customers the best services in the banking sector. As of December 2004, customers will truly experience the difference in using advanced ATMs that give them more features and options in more than 53 locations across the UAE. The new Personas delivers extensive range of cash, deposit and account based transactions on a single ATM. This multi-function ATM optimizes the migration of high volume, low commercial value transactions from the teller to the self-service channel, improving branch efficiency and increasing customer satisfaction.
