TRX Powers Data Integration for MasterCard Hotel Folio Initiative

Introduced in 2002, the MasterCard enhanced folio data program allows corporations using MasterCard Corporate Cards to receive line item expense detail for stays at more than 7,000 leading hotel properties across North America. This enhanced data transmission gives business travel managers a more complete view of employee business travel spending. The corporation now has access to itemized room, tax, meal, telephone, business center fees, and other incurred charges -- not just the summed bill -- thereby streamlining expense analysis, management reporting, and the accounts payable process. DATATRAX aggregates, filters, and maps hotel folio data feeds for MasterCard so that MasterCard can present expense details back to the corporation electronically or on its billing statement. DATATRAX also enables direct transmissions into corporate expense management systems in multiple data formats, and supports data integration from external sources without the need for additional interfaces or complex formatting processes. In all, DATATRAX allows for pre-populating of expense reports, and thereby helps to automate previously manual expense management processes.
