Under the terms of the partnership, Transact Network will issue both virtual and plastic prepaid Visa cards for Ixaris’ EntroPay and Opn payment services.
Transact Network and Ixaris have been working together since 2009, when Transact Network started issuing MasterCard-branded products for Ixaris. The new agreement marks Transact Network’s first implementation since it revealed plans to deliver services via Visa Europe.
Ixaris focuses on developing global applications based on prepaid card schemes. Its payment applications provide access to electronic payments for consumers unwilling or unable to access credit card services.
In recent news, Ixaris has revealed plans to launch the Opn Payment Partner application which automates and controls payment processing, enabling all sized businesses to track purchasing activities and handle cash flows.
