The Payroll Site launches its online payroll service for Apples Safari browser

The Payroll Site has responded to requests from Mac users and has redesigned its online payroll service to work using the Safari browser. Safari 2.0 is officially supported from 27th March 2007. Until now, a Mac user wishing to use the system had to install Firefox, Netscape or Internet Explorer on their Mac.

The online payroll service provided by The Payroll Site is a modern alternative to traditional software packages and bureau style services. Customers use an ordinary web browser to securely access a centrally-managed service, without the need for them to install any software. The service allows the customer to calculate and print payslips at any time, from any location, without being tied to a single computer. It is designed to put the customer in control at all times, whilst freeing them from the headaches of software installation, upgrades and backups. The service was launched in April 2004 and is based on a simple monthly subscription, starting at £5 per month including technical support. A free trial is available via a simple online signup, and no annual contract is required. A multi-company option is also available, for accountants and bookkeepers who find it more convenient to manage all of their clients from a single account.
