TCF, a Minnesota-based national financial holding company with $12 billion in assets, has 419 banking locations in Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Colorado and Indiana. IMAGECENTER provides the bank with the latest balancing and fraud detection technology on the market. The solution helps the bank meet windows on deposits and balance transactions to the general ledger. Additionally, it tracks the entire life cycle of each transaction to identify any bottlenecks, helping TCF better allocate resources and decrease processing time. IMAGECENTER communicates using extended markup language or XML, a Check 21 accepted format. With full imaging capabilities, it is designed to meet the current industry trend towards image-based ATMs. It supports all major ATM networks, branch and centralized check transports and teller window devices. Its open design gives financial institutions the ability to consolidate regional and central back office transaction processing onto a single platform. TCF is the latest of TWS clients to select the IMAGECENTER suite of products, which is used by several of the nations largest financial institutions including Key Bank, Bank One, National City and Charter One Bank. Additionally, several of the nations largest credit unions, including Pentagon, Orange County Teachers, Wescom, New York Municipal and VyStar, rely on the solution for transaction processing.
