Saturday 22 May 2004 07:37 CET | News

Omdurman National Bank has chosen CR2s ATM technology suite as it leads the way in Sudan in the availability of self-service delivery channels. At present there are no banks in Sudan that are providing these facilities and thus Omdurman National Bank is leading the way in this initiative for the country. Regarded highly as an advanced bank in terms of its technology, Omdurman National Bank has been listed by the Financial Times as Bank of the Year for this region. Omdurman National Bank was founded in 1993 and provides banking services for both retail and corporate clients. It has seen its profits rise significantly in the past few year and presently it has 17 branches, with 6 new outlets proposed for the coming year. In February it agreed a contract with CR2 for the implementation of CR2s BankWorld ATM Client and Controller system which will integrate into the banks host back-office system Pentasoft.
