Realm and EDS Deliver New Standard for Quick and Accurate Rent Collection

Realm Business Solutions has expanded its relationship with EDS to begin processing rent collections for Realms clients on the West Coast at EDS processing facility in El Segundo, Calif. This represents a major milestone in the relationship announced last year, which leveraged world-class financial processing expertise from EDS to make Realms COLLECT the industrys leading rent collection solution. Realm expects to complete the second phase of its contract with EDS -- the migration of Realms existing East Coast processing center to EDS Totowa, N.J. facility -- by the third quarter of this year. This transition addresses the growing demand for Realms COLLECT solution and significantly expands Realms service capabilities. Realms COLLECT software automates the rent collection process by allowing real estate companies to accept rent payments in any format (check, credit card, automatic bank draft/ACH or money order) and apply business rules to the physical and online acceptance of rent. Realms existing Glen Head, N.Y. processing facility remains the center of operations for Realms PAY invoice processing solution, as it is ideally configured to accept vendor invoices matched to a real estate companys exact payment settings.
