Device security startup NetAuthority has rolled out the DeviceLink 2.0 version of its device authentication technology.

The product can be deployed by enterprises to provide secure access to mobile and online applications. NetAuthority DeviceLink provides device authentication, enabling administrators to authorise and link specific devices to accounts and prevent fraudulent access from unauthorized devices. The product turns the device itself into an authentication factor, delivering sub-second device authentication without requiring anything else for the end user to have, know or do.

The newly introduced version also enables seamless multifactor authentication, upgrades and protects existing username and password-based authentication, delivers mass-deployable device authentication, works with web browsers and mobile application platforms;, generates unique, attribute-based device keys for each authentication sessions.

In 2012, NetAuthority has rolled out a suite of device-centric data security products including Device Authentication Engine, Device Authentication Service (DAS) and Transaction Verification Key (TVK) technology.
