MULTePAY Teams With Makro To Deliver The Goods For UK Retailers

MULTePAY payments services in the UK, has launched a major new channel via one of the UKs leading wholesalers, Makro Self Service Wholesalers Ltd. The first shipment of MULTePAY Direct terminals has now arrived in all 33 Makro outlets and a special promotion to coincide with the launch will run until March 26th 2004, offering customers £100 free top-up voucher credit with any MULTePAY terminal purchased. Makro is the latest UK wholesaler to stock the MULTePAY solution, joining leading cash and carrys Batleys, Blakemores, United, Sher Bros and JW Grays. Once connected, a MULTePAY retailer can earn up to 5.5 per cent on E-top ups on all six mobile networks, up to 32 per cent on international phone cards and 20 per cent on mobile content, such as games ring tones and logos. With the ability to process credit cards through Barclaycard, Alliance & Leicester, Amex, Diners and, soon, Streamline, the MULTePAY terminal also saves retailers having to rent a separate credit card terminal, helping to further boost their profits.
