Friday 29 October 2010 11:04 CET | News

UK-based digital identity services provider miiCard has inked a development and distribution agreement with Yodlee, a provider of personal financial management (PFM) and payments services.

Under the deal, the miiCard Digital Passport, an online identity validation service, is set to be integrated into the Yodlee 10 personal finance platform. The miiCard Digital Passport is expected to enable consumers to prove their identity in the online environment. The miiCard identity is verified every time the customer uses the service via a series of token exchanges between the user, the user’s computer, the user’s mobile phone and the website owners computer system.

The Yodlee 10 platform incorporates personal financial management tools, integrated payment capabilities as well as the Yodlee FinApp Store, a platform dedicated to financial application developers. Financial institutions using Yodlee-powered technology can create their own FinApp Stores and start build applications.
