MasterCard to be the Official Card of the Great Singapore Sale

MasterCard International has been appointed the Official Card of the Great Singapore Sale (GSS) for the next three years. MasterCards appointment as the official card of the GSS underscores its commitment to these industries and brings additional value-add to consumers and retailers alike. The GSS is synonymous with Singapore, and attracts not only local shoppers, but also tourists from across the region. This annual retail extravaganza is set to be bigger and better than ever before and MasterCard will play an integral part in this through a number of innovative and exciting promotions. Cardholders can look forward to a broader range of choices, as well as increased chances at winning attractive prizes. For the GSS 2004, MasterCard has lined up a range of innovative marketing activities spanning the entire eight-week duration of the Sale (28 May – 25 July 2004). The basic premise is that, armed with the ‘Right Card’ and by spending as little as S$30, all MasterCard cardholders can stand to win exclusive prizes. The Grand Lucky Draw Prize and Weekly Draw Prizes are unique priceless experiences based on MasterCard’s global Pricelessâ marketing platform. The card will allow consumers - both local and foreign - to avail of the special GSS discounts and bargains, without worrying about credit limits and eligibility criteria. It will also ensure that consumers always have access to a MasterCard card and never have to miss out on any GSS promotion since the card will be available island-wide.
