Majid Al Futtaim Finance introduces MyNetCard prepaid Visa card

UAE-based financial services provider Majid Al Futtaim Finance has rolled out the MyNetCard prepaid Visa card aimed at online purchases.

MyNetCard is similar to a credit card and it can be acquired at more than 100 outlets across the UAE including ENOC, EPPCO, Zoom, Al Fardan Exchange, Al Ghurair Exchange, Micro and Carrefour hypermarkets. In addition, Majid Al Futtaim Finance has entered a partnership with entertainment provider VOX Cinemas to enable consumers to buy movie tickets online using the MyNetCard.

In 2011, e-commerce in the UAE has amounted to more than USD 2 billion and it is expected to grow, according to Rasool Hujair, CEO for Majid Al Futtaim Finance, cited by online media outlet ameinfo.com.
