The Little League World Series baseball event was recently held in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, USA during August 2004. Curacao defeated Thousand Oaks in the final. Ultra Electronics Card Systems, supported the event by providing two Magicard card printers and free printer supplies during the event.

This was done together with Lenel Systems International, a leading provider of software and integrated systems for the security market, who donated manpower, equipment and installation services. All players, coaches and staff received official ID badges, and the winning team was awarded with special badges at the end. The magnetic stripe ID cards have Magicard and Lenel logos prominently displayed on the back, and barcodes on the front which were scanned to register teams and officials. Magicard secure ID card printers include the entry-level Opera and Avalon, the compact Alto, and the high-security, high-throughput Rio and Tango models, as well as the top-of-the-range reverse transfer Prima. All printers feature advanced card security options.
